News Update: Miss Mexico Crowned Miss Universe 2010

22-year-old Jimena Navarrete was crowned Miss Universe at the 2010 Miss Universe Competition Monday night.
The former model and pageant queen is a native of Guadalajara, Mexico.
"I want the whole world to know about my country and my people," Navarrete commented. "I imagine that they're all going crazy in Mexico right now."
Navarrete beat out 82 competitors for the prestigious Miss Universe title.
