29 August 2010 – Las Vegas, United States – Last week the Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant held in the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas gave a jury’s unanimous result; Miss Mexico Jimena Navarette Rosete became Miss Universe 2010.
What is next?When are the other three of the Big Four Beauty Pageants held?First of all Miss Universe 2010 Jimena Rosete will be flown all over the world to promote various good causes and will help in fund raising events world wide.
Her role is also to spread the message for peace, tolerance and mutual understanding around the globe.
Miss Universe is only one of the many beauty pageants world wide, it is the largest from the top four international events.
The other three events will all be held later this year.Miss World 2010The Miss World is the oldest beauty pageant and this year will be held in Sanya in the Peoples Republic of China on 30 October 2010.
Beauty queens from over 50 countries countries will competed for this prestige title on the Miss calendar. Miss World 2010 will live for one year in London in the United Kingdom, and Help the Miss World Organization to raise funds and awareness for their causes.
Miss Earth 2010Miss Earth, not as famous as Miss Universe or Miss World, but is the international beauty pageant promoting preservation and environmental awareness. The contest was organized for the first time in 2001 in the Philippines.
This year the competition will take place in Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang in Vietnam on 4 December 2010.
80 world wide contestants will compete The event will be broadcasted by VTV, ABS, CBS and the Filipino Channel.
Miss Earth will help the Miss Earth Foundation and the United nations Environment Programme UNEP to establish a greater awareness for our global environment.
2010 Miss International Beauty PageantThe International Beauty Pageant or for short Miss International and was held for the first time in Long Beach, California, United States.
This year the competitors for Miss International will get together in Chendu, Sichuan Province in the Peoples Republic of China. The date of this event is set for 7 November 2010.
Miss International 2010 will embark on a journey around the globe and be an Ambassador for Peace and Beauty. The festival is dubbed Festival of Beauty and Olympics of Beauty.
Grand Slam Pageants and Beauty pageants are big business both for promoters, advertisers, sponsors and television broadcast companies. And we, the audience, enjoy the exotic beauty that shines towards us.
